A financial penalty of $6,000 was imposed on InfoCorp for failing to put in place reasonable security arrangements to protect the personal data of individuals. Personal data of some individuals participating in a registration exercise via InfoCorp’s website were disclosed to other participants in the course of the registration exercise.
