Following issues 1 and 2 of the student activity book series, Cyber Safety, we are pleased to inform you that the third issue is now available and will be delivered to your school over the next two weeks.

In this issue, the story follows the story of Aldon and his mother, as they both faced dangerous situations online. As a result of a weak password and oversharing personal information online, Aldon’s social media account was hacked. Phishing emails were sent via the hacked account, and Aldon’s mother was almost tricked into providing important personal information such as her credit card details and NRIC number. Crypto and Synthia, the cyber heroes in this series, stopped them from committing the mistakes and informed them of the dangers of opening suspicious instant messages, as well as being careless in revealing too much personal information and befriending strangers online.
