Jointly organised with the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Breakfast with Commissioner is a networking session C-level executives should not miss!
Data is a key resource in the digital economy. Companies that make good use of their data can provide better services to their customers. The benefits of a data-centered strategy can be experienced by both emerging and traditional industries. Companies that incorporate data protection considerations when designing their operation processes are more likely to yield a competitive advantage, since trust and transparency are key drivers to business sustainability. Such companies will pull ahead of the pack.
Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), Mr Tan Kiat How, will be sharing detailed plans to construct a Data Protection Ecosystem in Singapore and how PDPC’s upcoming initiatives are aimed at equipping Data Protection Officers to help their companies adopt measures for responsible use and sharing of personal data. The event also provides a platform for C-Level executives to raise industry-specific concerns pertaining to personal data protection.
The event is held in conjunction with the Privacy Awareness Week 2017.
Reserved for C-level executives only. Please register your interest by writing in to outreach@pdpc.gov.sg, and include your name, designation, organisation and contact number.
