The PDPC, in consultation with the Land Transport Authority, has issued a set of advisory guidelines on how the PDPA applies when using in-vehicle recording devices (IVRDs). The guidelines provide guidance on ensuring compliance with the Data Protection provisions when IVRDs are used. Organisations that must comply include leasing companies and their drivers, as well as service providers.
